这次去之前，先是在离纽约有相当一段距离的北部Doral Arrowwood这个地方开会，这个我事先并不知道，也没去查（那是相当的P啊，真是被逼的已经很不J了），去后才发现原来我们来到了一望无垠的郊外，后来才知道这个其实不叫纽约郊外，人家根本就是另一个城市white plain的领地。当然那个一望无垠，还是颇值得称道的一个高尔夫度假酒店，尽管酒店很老了，但环境相当的棒，绿的没边，让人感觉是否会短时间吸氧过多而导致类似西藏人民突然来到平原而产生醉氧症状。之后，为了领略纽约的天堂和地域，匆匆taxi转火车的赶去，顺便体验了一把站站停的慢速火车。1个多小时后到达纽约市中心的Grand Central火车站，刚出火车，觉得真是破旧不堪啊（这一点在后1.5天的纽约地铁中深有感触），但从通道一转入Grand Central的巨大的候车厅，又被震了一下，尽管不是簇新的那种，但还是相当的宏大气派的么，好多游人在那里四下拍照。再转出大厅来到42th大街上，明显是高楼耸立车水马龙的另一番景象了。后来的纽约体验中，走马看花的去（或路经了）一些些地方，最主要的印象就是：时代广场附近的各类LED广告牌，静态的动画的，各个面积巨大，且数量众多，高度密集，相当于上海兰生的那种广告牌放大2倍，再以10-15倍的数量，集中堆在方圆200米的视线范围之内。这委实做出了一道特有的风景，让人觉得眼睛不够用。那里的人流量，也实在多到恐怖，完全可以和节假日时的南京路步行街匹敌。另一个特色，就是那一带的无处不在的各种搞怪的、袭人眼球的商业/艺术装扮或是街头表演，有满街给人画肖像的，有迪斯尼卡通人物走来走去，有装成雕塑的行为艺术者，有装扮成独立女神像和游客合影的，还有只穿短裤带着西部草帽的弹吉他的...中央公园：从钢筋丛林的闹市，到绿意满目的中央公园，感觉没啥过渡的，一条大马路之隔，完全是两番天地。这个公园真是巨大，晃悠个2小时，可能也就是cover它的1/3地带，估计怎么也得是世纪公园的3倍大。绿树植被多的一塌糊涂，当然，这个季节，来这里晒太阳、坐草坪、打球骑车的市民和游人也数量不少。那条知名的第五大道，北边其实是贴着中央公园的，一边是还算中看的一栋栋高楼公寓类建筑，一边就是公园。而南边则完全是两侧高楼，奢侈品牌林立。不过也发现不少fast fashion的品牌搞的很火热，ZARA, GAP， Uniqlo悉数开了很有品味的旗舰店，优衣库的巨型橱窗和店面陈设还是非常有特点的，营销做的很棒。在百老汇附近都很难错过音乐剧。我这次是没有任何事先计划的，但在那一带没走几分钟就决定要去看一场音乐剧了，因为好几个剧的巨型广告就在眼前。所以立马买了当晚的MamaMia票子，也算去一个主要节目了。ABBA的音乐、演员的演唱功力、还有一些欢乐搞笑的桥段（当然还是不能全部听懂）...很棒。百老汇经典剧目的主要能耐之一，就是一波波的让观众越来越High，把气氛推向高潮，我身边的一群讲法语的小姑娘们，简直忍不住要一起唱一起扭。（转自新浪博客vanessacen的博客）
